In short
Elevator fixtures are the passenger interface devices: the COP (car operating panel) inside the car with floor buttons, door open/close, alarm and intercom, and the LOP (landing operating panel) at each floor with call buttons, hall lantern and position indicator. EN 81-70 governs button height, braille, tactile marking and audible acknowledgement.
Engineering overview
Fixtures are what a passenger actually touches, and under EN 81-70 they are also the accessibility interface. Liftech Global supplies full-height and half-height car operating panels, single- and double-push landing operating panels, hall lanterns, dot-matrix or TFT position indicators, and the intercom, key-switch, fireman's and card-reader modules that mount into them.
Faceplates are 1.5–3.0 mm SUS 304 hairline, mirror or PVD-coated, laser-cut and CNC-engraved for flush mounting. Buttons are micro-travel stainless or piezo/touch types with red or blue halo acknowledgement, rated for over one million operations, and are backed by braille and 15–40 mm raised tactile characters mounted 900–1 200 mm above finished floor as EN 81-70 requires.
Displays run over the controller's CAN or serial bus, so a modernisation can keep the existing wiring while replacing seven-segment indicators with dot-matrix or 7–10 inch TFT panels showing floor, direction, load status and multilingual announcements.

Full-height COP
Floor-to-ceiling stainless panel with display, buttons, intercom, key switches and inspection sub-panel.
Half-height / compact COP
Space-saving panel for small cars and home lifts.
Touch-screen / TFT COP
7–15 inch capacitive display with destination entry, building info and multilingual announcement.
Landing operating panel (LOP)
Single or dual push with integrated dot-matrix indicator and hall lantern.
Hall lantern & gong
Arriving-direction lamp with audible gong, one chime up and two down per EN 81-70.
Position indicators
Seven-segment, dot-matrix red/blue or TFT indicators for car and landings.
