Overview
Modernization restores factory performance on lifts that are mechanically sound but electrically obsolete. Liftech audits the existing machine, ropes, rails and doors, then replaces the controller with a Monarch NICE 3000+ or equivalent open platform, adds a closed-loop VVVF drive, upgrades the door operator and refreshes the cabin.
Typical outcomes are 25–40% lower energy consumption, ±5 mm levelling accuracy, quieter travel, and full EN 81-20/50 recertification — achieved in 15–25% of the downtime a complete replacement would require.
