An Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) is a fixed-fee agreement covering preventive maintenance, safety testing, priority emergency response and — depending on the tier — consumable spares such as brake pads, door pickups and light curtains. It is the standard way to keep a lift certified and safe under EN 13015.

In Pakistan's coastal humidity, dust and load-shedding environment, unmaintained lifts fail faster on door operators, brake linings and ARD batteries. An AMC prevents entrapment shutdowns, preserves the OEM warranty, satisfies building insurance and keeps operating cost predictable over the 20–25 year lift life.

A monthly-visit Essential AMC for a single MRL passenger lift typically ranges from PKR 12,000–22,000 per month depending on city, floors and controller type. Priority and IoT tiers, and multi-lift portfolios, are quoted after a site survey.

Every AMC visit follows an EN 13015 preventive checklist: brake and rope inspection, door operator and safety-edge check, governor tripping test, ARD battery load test, controller error-log review, cabin and landing fixture cleaning — all recorded in a signed logbook left on site.

Priority AMC is recommended for high-traffic hospital, hotel and commercial lifts where downtime is critical. IoT AMC adds continuous fault monitoring and is the right choice for portfolio owners managing 5+ lifts or high-rise towers where response minutes matter.
