What size hospital elevator is required for an ICU bed?

A minimum internal cabin of 1600×2500 mm with a 1200 mm clear door opening is required to accept an ICU bed with ventilator, IV pole and one attendant. For neuro / cardiac ICU stacks Liftech recommends 1800×2700 mm cabins.

What is hospital-priority operation?

Hospital priority is a key-operated call that cancels all registered landing calls and dispatches the car directly to the calling floor for exclusive use by medical staff. Liftech implements it per EN 81-70 §5.4.5 with independent service lockout.

How is ±3 mm re-levelling achieved?

The controller monitors car position with a shaft-encoder and, whenever the load changes (patient boarding), the drive re-torques the motor and the brake to correct floor level within ±3 mm — with the doors still open — using UCM-monitored circuits.
