Moving Walks

0°–12° inclined · pallet-type · airports & transit

01 · Overview

Engineered moving walks for Pakistan's demanding built environment.

Liftech Global moving walks (autowalks / travelators) transport passengers and their luggage over long horizontal or gently inclined distances in airports, transit stations and large retail environments. A pallet-type or belt-type surface delivers a continuous walking speed of 0.5–0.75 m/s, greatly reducing perceived walking distance.

Modules are engineered to EN 115-1:2017 with the same auxiliary brake, skirt safety and speed-monitored handrail systems as escalators. Individual units are supplied up to 100 m long and can be linked to form corridors of any length.

03 · Benefits

Why engineers choose this platform.

Long distances

Individual units up to 100 m — linked to any total length.

Trolley-friendly

0°–12° incline accepts luggage trolleys & shopping carts.

High throughput

Up to 9,000 pax/hour at 1000 mm pallet width.

Energy saving

IR passenger detector auto-slows the walk when empty.
