Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) — Primary Regulatory Authority

The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is the statutory body established under the PEC Act 1976 that regulates the engineering profession in Pakistan. Every commercial, industrial and institutional lift or escalator installed in Pakistan must be designed, supervised and commissioned by PEC-registered engineers and a PEC-licensed constructor/operator. The EN standard is the dominant regulatory framework across Europe and is heavily adopted globally. Liftech applies the EN 81 lift series and EN 115 escalator series on every applicable project.
